Prime Videos Catalog & Data Platform (CDP) is the authoritative source of truth for every title available to hundreds of millions of customers across 249 territories across Subscription and TransActional VOD Channels Linear Live Sports and beyond. We drive the full content supply chain: from content and rights ingestion and processing through product and offer distribution to every PV surface (Browse Search Fire TV Web Mobile 3P Living Room devices Google Apple and other affiliates).
We are hiring an DE-II to help build the next generation of our Distribution platform. You will design and deliver systems that process billions of content requests and catalog queries daily and ensure every customer in every territory sees the right content with the right offer at the right time. Your work directly impacts whether a customer in Mumbai can watch the latest season of a show whether a partner in Tokyo can launch content across territories simultaneously and whether Prime Videos storefront renders the correct experience for 100s of millions of active streamers worldwide.


The systems you will design and build are high performance distributed systems capable of enabling the growth of Prime Video global business. Innovation is key on this team and we are looking for technically savvy individuals with the ability to think big & deliver simple solutions to complex problems.

- 3 years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL

- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift S3 AWS Glue EMR Kinesis FireHose Lambda and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage document or key-value stores graph databases column-family databases)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
