Summary
The Data Analyst supports DSV Roads transportation operations by delivering data-driven insights across key business areas including equipment cost headcount financial performance and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for extracting consolidating and analyzing data from multiple systems to provide accurate timely and actionable reporting. The Data Analyst will play a critical role in reducing manual reporting efforts improving data accessibility and enabling informed decision-making across the business. This role serves as a centralized analytics partner and collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data inputs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Extract compile and analyze data from multiple internal systems including SAP CargoWise Geotab Blue Yonder OpenDock TruckMate VFT (load management system) and other systems.
- Consolidate data from disparate sources into centralized datasets to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) such as equipment costs utilization headcount labor productivity and transportation performance.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate reporting processes reducing manual data pulls and turnaround time.
- Conduct financial and operational analyses including cost trends variance analysis and performance tracking across transportation operations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations Safety Equipment Control Finance HR and other groups to gather validate and interpret data needed for reporting and analysis.
- Support ad hoc reporting and deep-dive analyses using raw data to address business questions and operational challenges.
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across systems and reporting outputs.
- Translate complex data into clear concise insights and presentations for leadership.
- Document data sources reporting processes and definitions to support standardization and scalability.
- Support system and process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing system redundancy and improving data flow across platforms.

Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Business Finance Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted.
- 13 years of experience in data analysis reporting or business analytics.
- Experience working with multiple data sources and systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience with Power BI including dashboard development data modeling and visualization required.
- Proven experience extracting consolidating and analyzing data from multiple systems/sources.
- Experience within transportation logistics or trucking operations preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables advanced formulas data manipulation).
- Experience querying and manipulating data using SQL or similar tools preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to interpret financial operational and headcount-related data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with and gather data from cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.

The role involves working across multiple systems and digital platforms simultaneously in a fast-paced data-driven environment.
For this position the expected base pay range is $70000.00 $90000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience skills education certifications and geographic location in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
