PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Associate Director Law Enforcement and Community Security Partnerships is responsible for expanding strengthening and deepening the ADL Center on Extremisms (COE) relationships with law enforcement and Jewish communal security partners in coordination with regional ADL offices within their division. This role builds and sustains partnerships through proactive outreach regular intelligence sharing and the coordination of intelligence briefings trainings and other engagement opportunities.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Build and expand partnerships with law enforcement agencies and Jewish communal security organizations across the division.
  • Maintain and deepen existing partner relationships through consistent engagement and relationship management.
  • Conduct outreach to new and emerging partners to broaden COEs network and reach.
  • Utilizing COEs proprietary tools and technology identify and share relevant regional intelligence with partners in a timely secure and actionable manner.
  • Plan and coordinate intelligence briefings and trainings for partners and community stakeholders.
  • Support regional engagement efforts by coordinating and participating in meetings and joint initiatives with partners.
  • Represent COE at conferences and events strengthening visibility and connections across the security ecosystem.
  • Develop conference/panel participation including drafting panel proposals and related materials.
  • Collaborate with the COE Partnerships team and broader COE team to align partner engagement with organizational priorities.
  • Support community partner engagement to advance COEs partnership strategy and mission.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Proven relationship-building and partner management skills with diverse stakeholders (e.g. law enforcement Jewish communal security and community organizations).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce clear briefings partner updates and conference/panel proposals.
  • Ability to translate complex or sensitive information into actionable insights for varied audiences.
  • Training and briefing facilitation skills including planning agendas presenting effectively and moderating discussions.
  • Strong coordination and project management skills to run multiple partnership activities simultaneously (briefings trainings events outreach).
  • Track record of developing and sustaining partnerships across a defined region/territory/division.
  • High level of discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to achieve shared objectives and support broader organizational initiatives.
  • Experience representing an organization at conferences or industry/community events; experience drafting panel proposals or speaking submissions is a plus.
  • Experience with database management platforms and a comfort level with adopting and mastering new software tools to continuously improve workflows.
  • Experience organizing and delivering briefings trainings or informational sessions for professional audiences.

Work Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in partnerships stakeholder engagement or external affairs ideally in a security public safety intelligence or community protection context.
  • Experience working directly with law enforcement security professionals or community security organizations (preferred).

Education:

  • Bachelors degree required (e.g. Criminal Justice Security Studies Public Administration Public Relations International Relations Political Science or a related field) or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Relevant professional training or certifications in areas such as threat assessment intelligence analysis emergency management protective security or law enforcement/community safety are a plus.

Work Environment:

  • ADL is a hybrid environment; this role will require 3 days in the office.
