About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to provide expert employment relations advice and manage ER matters end-to-end across a diverse client base.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Providing timely practical advice on employment relations matters via phone and email
- Advising on Award coverage classifications and Fair Work Act compliance
- Managing end-to-end ER cases including misconduct performance and terminations
- Handling restructures redundancies and changes to employment conditions
- Drafting high-quality documentation including contracts warnings and termination letters
- Clearly outlining risks options and recommendations for client decision-making
- Maintaining accurate case notes within internal systems
- Supporting clients with performance management and onboarding best practices
- Promoting effective use of internal HR systems and tools
- Staying up to date with employment law and contributing to process improvements
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 2 years of experience in employment relations HR or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and ER processes
- Experience managing disciplinary performance and termination matters
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence coaching managers through sensitive workplace issues
- Strong systems capability and ability to use multiple platforms
- A practical and commercially minded approach to HR and employment law
