Faculty Employment Opportunity

POSITION:

Assistant Professor of Computer Science: The Department of
Computer Science invites applications for a full-time tenure-track
appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Effective teaching
scholarly productivity and service to the University are required for
retention promotion and tenure. This position is contingent upon the
availability of authorized funding. This is an academic year
appointment. However opportunities exist for an additional Summer
Session appointment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A potential candidates consideration will be enhanced by providing evidence of: effective teaching of a broad range of undergraduate computer science courses.

COMPENSATION:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Anticipated hiring range is $8045 - $8526 per month for Assistant Professor (12 monthly payments per academic year). As a member of the 23-campus CSU System we offer an extremely competitive benefits package.
