Job Summary
ICFisseekingexperiencedCFSR Reviewers tojoin a team ofchild welfare professionals tosupport the Childrens Bureaubyconductingonsitereviews instates. CFSR Reviewers willapply the Onsite Review Instrument (OSRI)to conduct child welfare case reviewsand interview case participants.
Position availability is dependent upon contract awardto ICF; qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for considerationby filling out an application.
The position requirestravelforweek-long onsite reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- AssistingCB inconducting aCFSRby:
- Working aloneor with astate reviewer:reviewing case records interviewing involved parties and completing the OSRI
- Using professional judgement to make case rating decisionsbased on CFSR instructions and regulations
- Participating in group meetings during the onsite review asrequired
- Assistingin compiling a summary of the teams findings during the onsite review
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degreein social work human servicespublic administration counseling or a closely related field
- Work history inCFSR-relatedchild welfare programs including work experience inafederal stateor localpublicchild welfare program
- Minimum of 5 years direct field experience and/or supervisory administrative or management experience in a public or private child welfare agency
- Ability to travel for week-long onsite reviews
- 5 years ofassessment skills including the ability to: (1) gather information from interviews and documents; (2) pursue the collection of information from various sources; (3) take notes and compile information obtained from multiple sources; and (4) make professional judgments based on the information collected during thereviews
PreferredQualifications:
- Masters degree insocial workhuman servicescounseling public administration or a closely related field
- Supervisory administrative and/or management experience in a public (federal state or local) or private child welfare agency; or at least 2 years of direct experience working for a state Court Improvement Project or juvenile or family court dealing with child welfare cases.
- Participation in a CFSR on a state team; experience in quality assurance or performance reviews of child welfare services
- Experienceapplying the Onsite Review Instrument and Instructions
- CFSR process PIP development and/or implementation or similar Continuous Quality Improvement or Quality Assurance processesat the federal stateor local level
- Experience working in a federal contracting environment
