FanDuel is looking for a Senior Analyst to execute our commercial strategy & objectives for FanDuels newest product FanDuel Predicts. You will play a key role on the Commercial Analytics team owning the products performance tracking & strategic analyses in addition to supporting budgeting & forecasting and day-to-day data needs. You will be responsible for monitoring the business performance spotting trends/criticalities completing simple & complex analyses to inform business decisions and report periodically to the leadership team. This is a highly collaborative role and you will collaborate with multiple functions within FanDuel including but not limited to Product Acquisition & Retention Marketing Finance & Legal.
A successful candidate will be a self-motivated and organized individual with high attention to detail can easily problem solve and is able to make quick but well-informed decisions and back them up with data driven results. In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Support in the creation of forecasts across customer acquisition and engagement
- Develop standardized reporting and monitor daily performance of FanDuel Predicts and identify tactical levers that ensure we deliver against our monthly financial targets
- Perform analysis and experiments to derive insights that support business decisions for the Predicts Commercial team as well as partners in Marketing Finance and Product
- Influence the creation execution and aftercare of insight-driven projects that will benefit customers and improve profitability
- Analyze and recommend improvements to existing processes across various teams including but not limited to Marketing Product Data Engineering and Customer Operations
- Be an expert of FanDuel Predicts customer experience end to end (e.g. media registration funnel funding odds UX promos CS) and proactively look for opportunities to improve
- Develop a strong understanding of FanDuels business with a focus on emerging markets & trends and the regulatory environment under which FanDuel and its competitors operate
THE STATS
What were looking for in our next teammate
- 3 years experience working in an analytical technical or commercial field preferred
- Bachelors Degree in a highly numerate major (Math Stats Econ etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and Tableau/data visualization required experience with Python and data pipelines a plus
- Strong analytical proficiency & Excel-based modeling skills experience in statistical and experimentation methods preferred
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to senior leadership stakeholders
- Track record of transforming data into actionable insights and presentations
- Ability to take initiative and produce results in a fast-paced highly ambiguous environment
- Effective at relationship building and sensitive to stakeholders needs
- Experience working in the real-money gaming industry or in an adjacent industry preferred but not required
- Knowledge of and interest in sports and technology preferred; ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the industry and company will be critical to success

The applicable salary range for this position is $106000 - $133000 USD which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience location business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical vision and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation including but not limited to cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
