Position Overview
We are seeking a forward-thinking Director People & Culture Advanced Analytics to serve as the lead data scientist for HR. This role will build and scale a modern people analytics functionfrom foundational organizational health dashboards to advanced predictive analyticsenabling data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.This leader will transform how People & Culture delivers insights: shifting from static reports and spreadsheets to dynamic real-time dashboards with actionable intelligence and democratization of people insights for the organization.

What Youll Do:
People Analytics Strategy
Define and execute the strategy for P&C advanced analytics that aligns with the business and enhances understanding of the Zelis workforce
Serve as the primary data science leader for HR partnering with Senior Leadership P&C Business Partners and other stakeholders to influence data-driven workforce strategy
Identify key workforce and talent-related questions; frame hypotheses and identify which metrics matter to business leaders; workforce data to business outcomes
Data Science & Advanced Analytics
Establish a unified data ecosystem to enable comprehensive organizational health measurement
Design and deploy predictive models (e.g. attrition risk workforce planning engagement drivers) leveraging statistical modeling machine learning and scenario analysis
Develop business intelligence dashboard development data visualization user experience data engineering and leverage effective partnerships with technology
Translate complex data into clear actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
Mine and integrate data across multiple sources (HRIS engagement surveys performance recruiting financial and external benchmarks) and ensure data quality integrity and appropriate governance
Adoption
Champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making and ensure end-users understand the value of people analytics
Drive adoption of data-driven tools and dashboards across P&C and leaders
Upskill P&C partners on interpreting and leveraging analytics
What Youll Bring to Zelis:
Bachelors degree required; Masters or PhD in Data Science Human Resource Statistics or related field preferred
12-15 years of experience in people analytics data science or advanced analytics; HR experience required
Proven experience building predictive models and translating insights into business impact
Strong expertise in data visualization tools with Sigma experience preferred
Experience integrating and analyzing data across multiple enterprise systems
Demonstrated ability to lead transformation from manual reporting to automated scalable analytics solutions
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

Location and Workplace Flexibility
We have offices in Atlanta GA Boston MA Morristown NJ Plano TX St. Louis MO St. Petersburg FL and Hyderabad India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture and all our employees work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership -office work and activities if applicable vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
Base Salary Range
$153000.00 - $193800.00At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors including experience education qualifications as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package which may also include discretionary bonus plans commissions or other incentives depending on the role.
