Position summary:

The Dedicated Planning Operations Coordinator plays a key role in helping us deliver an exceptional and meaningful advice experience to our clients. Think of this role as both a behind-the-scenes engine and a friendly face clients can rely onkeeping things running smoothly while building strong relationships along the way.

In this role youll collaborate closely with team members while also interacting directly with clients to support their planning journey. Responsibilities include overseeing important processes preparing financial plans conducting investment research and analysis and coordinating client service needs to ensure every client experience is thoughtful organized and seamless.

The Dedicated Planning Operations Coordinator is employed by Journey Financial Consultants.
Employment by the founding advisors of the JFC team.

This is a full-time positionwith benefits such as Life Long TermDisability andPaidLeave.

Hourly rate and overall position will be reviewed per offer letter- compensation range is $65000-$75000 annually.

This position will either be fully in office at the New Brighton MN location or hybrid - 3 days a week in office.

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Oversee workflowsandcoordinatejob responsibilities ofdedicatedplanning department team members

  • Collaboratewithteam memberson client cases

  • Enter client information into various systems

  • Prepare and update financial plans and presentation material for client meetings

  • Enter information into financial planning software and prepare draft financial plans

  • Deepen existing client relationships through processing of client requests resolving client questions and making sure client information and documentation are up to date

  • Research and respond to client inquiries

  • Finalizesubmit and track all client account and application paperwork

  • Gather andmaintaincustomer suitability information

  • Research and analyze investment and portfolio allocations

  • Assistin generating performance reports

  • Maintain information in CRM (Salesforce) system

  • Fill out necessary forms for opening andmaintainingaccounts

  • Handle requestsfor transfers of funds in and out of accounts

  • Identifyand offer recommendations on how tooptimizeworkflows

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

  • Note CANNOT be listed as the servicing representative AND need to note their FA is selling agent within the rep questionnaire.

Position Qualifications

  • Previousadministrative/secretarial experience desired

  • 3 years industry experience

  • Certified Financial Planner or Chartered Financial Analyst designationpreferred not required

  • Securities (6/63 7/66 or 7/63 & 65) and Life Health and Annuity registration

  • Bachelors degree in Financial Planning Finance Accounting or Economics preferred

  • Extremely strong organizational skills

  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills

  • Technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g. Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Salesforce) or ability to learn

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks andmaintaina high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions

  • Ability tomaintainintegrity of sensitive/confidential information

This position will consistently followhigh standardsof business and professional ethics legal and regulatory requirements and company policies when dealing with others and/or performing work activities. This is a licensed role with potential for advancement upon future traininglicensingor advanced designations.

As part ofJourneyFinancial Consultantsrecruiting/hiring/contracting process a verification of acandidatesbackground will be made to complete the hiring/contracting addition fingerprints will be taken for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
