What youll do...
About the Team:We are looking for a passionate creative Data Scientist III to join the Data Science team. You will have the unique opportunity to work with massive business and social data generated by Walmart Inc.s unparalleled online and offline commerce. As a Senior Data Analyst you will transform complex data into actionable insights supporting data-driven decision-making and driving business impact across Walmarts digital and physical channels. You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists Engineers Product Managers and Business professionals at the intersection of analytics big data IT infrastructure and business operations.

- Partner strategically with product development and business teams delivering insights and recommendationsof fraudtrendsand patternsthrough effective data storytelling and visualization.
- Analyze high-dimensional fast-moving real-time datasets toidentifytrends anomalies and opportunities forfraud detection.
- Build andmaintaindashboards and reports tomonitorkey business metrics and share insights with stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and documentation.
- Research and apply new analytical methods tools and techniques to solve complex business problems.

- Technicalexpertisein data analysis statistical methods and data visualization.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and data engineering best practices
- Proficiencyin SQL and data analysis packages in Python or R.
- Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing tools (BigQuery Hive or Spark).
- Bachelorsdegree in a STEM or related fieldplus three years of related experienceorMastersdegree in a STEMor related field plus one year of related experience
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The annual salary range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
