Job Summary
The Cloud Engineer will support all aspects of Crownpeaks production cloud-based infrastructure including application support maintenance and deployment and the ability to make informed decisions based on analysis and data. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and develop has good all-round communication skills and if customer focused.
What will you do
Support production applications and infrastructure on Amazon Web Services
Action customer requests in accordance with agreed service levels
Respond to service outages and issues in a timely fashion
Provide solutions to fix repetitive issues
Work closely with developing and engineering teams to deploy software
Maintain and update documentation for working processes

Experience working in a Cloud Operations environment
Hands on experience with Ubuntu Linux-based system administration
Scripting and automation skills (e.g. Bash Python Groovy)
Experience working with monitoring tools frameworks and processes (e.g. Nagios StatusCake Prometheus CloudWatch)
Excellent problem-solver and communicator
A demonstrative team-playing attitude
The appetite to learn and develop technical skills
It would also be a plus if you had:
Experience in full automation and configuration management (Ansible Terraform Jenkins)
Understanding of Git version control & GitHub
A familiarization of agile process methodologies
Exposure working in a DevOps culture
