Caterpillars CISM division is hiring for Senior Product Procurement Engineer in Peoria IL!

Role Summary: This is a supporting role within EMSM Strategy team working closely with global EMSM teams and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on key projects KPI updates governance and overall consistent communication and reporting.

What Youll Do (Job Duties)

• Act as Governance and Strategy lead within EMSM team
• Coordinate with other EMSM leaders to summarize status of key initiatives and create presentations as necessary for leadership teams
• Work with crossfunctional teams(e.g. Procurement Engineering Supply Chain Manufacturing)
• Managing governance and providing guidance to teams to ensure compliance
• Lead procurement process alignment and benchmarking activities driving continuous improvement and waste reduction

What You Have (Core Skills)

• Data-driven Decision Making: Knowledge of the data-driven decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to gather and analyze data to make organizational decisions that align with strategic business objectives and goals.
• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
• Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
• Cost-Benefit Analysis: Knowledge of the principles and tools used in cost-benefit analysis; ability to analyze the purpose and scope of a producer product process or project in terms of cost and benefits.
• Strategic Sourcing: Knowledge of strategic sourcing methods technologies and processes; ability to analyze improve and re-evaluate organizational procurement process continuously.
• Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategies practices and tools for controlling the whole processes.
  

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Strong PowerPoint and Power BI skills
• Knowledge of multiple levels of Business
• Data analytics capabilities
• Ability to act with a sense of urgency and build communications for various levels of leadership

Additional Details

• Work location: IL-Peoria-Building AB Office
• Domestic relocation assistance IS NOT available for this role

• Travel: Up to 5% domestic and international
• This position requires 5 days per week in the office (M-F)

Summary Pay Range:
