Finisher

Summary:

The Finisher is responsible for preparing painting and finishing cabinets to achieve high-quality durable and visually consistent results.

Hours: Tuesday - Friday 6am - 4:30pm

Pay: $24 - $25 / hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding cleaning and filling imperfections
• Apply primers paints stains and sealers using spray equipment or hand tools
• Match colors stains and finishes to specifications or customer requirements
• Inspect surfaces between coats and perform touch-ups as needed
• Maintain spray booths tools and finishing equipment
• Follow proper drying curing and handling procedures
• Follow safety guidelines for handling chemicals paints and equipment
• Keep work area clean and organized

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or
• Cabinetry painting experience
• Industrial spray finishing experience

• While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $24 - $25 USD hourly. Ultimately in determining pay we will consider the successful candidates location experience and other job-related factors.
