Job Description:
IPSEN a global biopharmaceutical company is dedicated to enhancing patient lives through innovative medicines in oncology neuroscience and rare diseases. We are committed to discovering new solutions and making a significant impact on the healthcare landscape.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lead to join our team in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to shape policy manage government relations and provide insights on market access and pricing that impact IPSENs business operations in China.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify key stakeholders develop tailored engagement plans and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on policy positions and ensure consistent messaging.
Policy Analysis: Regularly monitor analyze and interpret policy and regulatory dynamics in the healthcare sector providing strategic insights and recommendations to the business and management team in a timely manner.
Policy Positioning: Develop and communicate IPSENs policy positions on key issues to ensure alignment with business priorities and strategic goals.
Advocacy: Develop and execute advocacy strategies to influence policy decisions that support IPSENs business objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal business leads and cross-functional teams to solve problems and identify practical solutions to policy needs and changes.
Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with local laws regulations and IPSENs ethical standards.
Education: A bachelors degree in political science Public Policy or a related field is required. A masters degree is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in government affairs public policy or a related role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Skills:
A strong understanding of the Chinese healthcare policy and regulatory environment.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
The ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop strategic responses.
A proven track record of successful advocacy and government relations.
Fluency in Mandarin and English.
