The Aircraft Readiness Facilitator Manager position supports the Maintenance Team with purchasing and aquiring parts in a timely manner. This role will report to the Howell (Livingston County Airport -KOZW) location but travel to the other 4 locations may be necessary (Waterford (KPTK) Belleville (KYIP) Flint (KFNT) Lansing(KLAN)).

Job Description and Tasks:

  • Parts Management
    • Researching parts
    • Buying and selling parts
  • Purchasing and coordinating payment & pick up/delivery of parts
  • Coordinate payments for vendors via Crosswinds Finance Team.
  • Utilize Ramp system for parts payments
  • Parts Inventory Management
    • Overseeing auditing of parts by assistant readiness facilitator
  • Requesting Assistant to coordinate and move parts around between locations
  • Manage Warranty items
  • Develop and maintain processes for parts inventory and tools
  • Calibrated Tools
    • Manage calibrated tools and ensure they are current for utilization and coordinate shipment for calibration
  • Coordinating with Maintenance Team
    • Participate in weekly L10 meetings with Director of Maintenance
    • Update weekly parts department records
  • Manage Assistant Readiness Facilitator
    • Overseeing daily tasks and ensuring fulfillment of expectations
  • Coordination between departments
    • Facilitation between Maintenance department and Flight Operations
  • Asset Management using Asset Tiger
  • Managing Consumables

Technical Skills Required:

Proficiency on a computer and with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook etc.).

Personal Attributes Required:

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy

Able to remain calm under pressure and quickly resolve issues

Education Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management & Purchasing
  • Aviation industry experience

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $20-25 per hour (based on experience and education)

  • Employment Type: Full-time non-exempt
