Were currently seeking a Foster Care Case Manager who is compassionate organized and driven by purpose to join our dedicated team.
What Youll Do
As a Foster Care Case Manager youll support children in state custody and the families caring for them helping move each child toward permanency safety and well-being.
In this role you will:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 1318 children
- Conduct regular visits with children parents and foster families
- Coordinate family and sibling visitation
- Facilitate Family Support Team (FST) meetings
- Partner with courts schools therapists and child welfare professionals
- Attend court hearings and provide case updates
- Connect families to community and support resources
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Transport children to appointments when needed
- Participate in limited on-call rotations (after-hours support is compensated)
Travel Requirements:
- Regular in-state travel (Kansas City Columbia Springfield Cape Girardeau etc.)
- Occasional out-of-state travel for kinship placements
What Were Looking For
Were looking for someone who leads with empathy stays organized under pressure and communicates effectively with families and professionals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Social Work or a related human services field
- Experience working with children and families
- Valid Class E Drivers License
- CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
