EMPLOYMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Manage employment process and activities for filling hourly salaried non-exempt and salaried vacancies.
• Recruit interview select and facilitate on-boarding process for both hourly and management.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable laws and company policies per federal state and company specific guidelines.
• Manage affirmative action program and relate efforts including analysis interpretation and communication of data.
• Assist in human resources processes when necessary.
• Must be able to work weekends as needed.
• Must have fluent working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work comfortably in a widely diverse environment.
• Must be comfortable working in a meat processing environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in employee relations recruitment interviewing selection compliance hiring laws and best practices preferred
• Knowledge of management of an affirmative action plan
• Must be able to speak read and write English fluently
• Bachelors degree in HR or related field required
• Prior experience in unionized environment helpful
• 3-4 years experience in recruiting and sourcing talent
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• As a salaried position with the company you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities to attend Company events or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
