ROLE SUMMARY
The Human Resources Advisor serves as a trusted partner to managers and employees providing expert guidance on a wide range of HR matters including employee relations policy interpretation performance management and workplace compliance. The HR Advisor supports organizational goals by offering operational and strategic HR support while also analyzing workforce trends supporting change initiatives and assisting in the development and communication of HR programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements human resources programs and services including talent acquisition compensation training and development records management health and safety employee relations and retention and compliance reporting
- Support companys performance management process including testing implementation and monitoring of Performance module in HRIS (SuccessFactors) provide training presentations to employees and managers and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business
- Manage the full employee life cycle and those who support it from initial recruitment engagement to onboarding and development programs to offboarding. Includes conducting new hire orientation and exit interviews providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee concerns workplace issues and policy interpretation
- In conjunction with wider HR team identify develop & deliver reporting KPIs dashboards and analytics for the business
- Provide secondary support for North American payroll processing and benefits administration
- Assist in coordination of company events/human relations activities-programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration HR or Finance related field
- 2-4 years experience in Human Resources Generalist or similar role
- Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficiency in HR software and systems
- Excellent analytical problem solving and presentation skills
- The ability to work often as part of a team focusing on internal customers and cross functional groups
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law HR best practices and ability to provide sound guidance to all levels of employees
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
BENEFITS
At Optos we offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package. The total compensation for this role is $70000 to $80000 per year as well as eligibility to participate in the corporate bonus plan.
