Compenstation: $18.00 - $19.00
Were looking for a reliable hands-on Material Handler to support our Machine Shop operations.
This role is critical in ensuring materials are received stored and delivered efficiently to keep production running safely and smoothly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of machine shop or manufacturing experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with repetitive movements (lifting bending pushing pulling)
- Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Receive and organize incoming materials into inventory
- Store materials safely and in proper locations
- Stage raw materials for machine shop workstations
- Manage material flow throughout the shop floor
- Support machine operators as needed
- Perform ERP/system transactions accurately
- Assist with identifying and creating storage locations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
