Our Client is a leading environmental organisation committed to restoring and conserving Australias diverse landscapes. They work collaboratively with Traditional Owners landholders communities and partners to deliver large-scale science-based conservation outcomes that benefit biodiversity climate resilience and people.

The ideal candidate will have prior conservation or environmental fieldwork experience and confidence operating a manual transmission 4WD vehicle in off-road and remote conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Planting watering and fertilising vegetation
• Hand weeding and assisting with herbicide application (under supervision)
• Brushcutting and general vegetation management
• Assisting with seed collection and cleaning (as required)
• Following safety procedures and environmental guidelines
• Working collaboratively with team members in field conditions

About You

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable punctual and able to follow instructions
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Previous experience in landscaping agriculture or conservation (desirable but not essential)

Requirements

• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Current drivers licence (preferred)
• Ability to travel to various field sites
