Job Summary
About the Role:
The Global Senior Manager BOM Procurement will lead strategic procurement initiatives focused on bill of materials (BOM) driving cost optimization supplier excellence and operational efficiency across the organization. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective sourcing strategies strengthen supplier relationships and deliver sustainable value while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and standards.
What You Will Do:
Lead end-to-end BOM procurement strategy and execution across assigned categories
Drive cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing negotiation and TCO analysis
Manage and strengthen supplier relationships ensuring performance quality and reliability
Oversee contract negotiations payment terms and commercial agreements
Ensure full compliance with procurement policies governance and internal controls
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies
Monitor supplier risk market trends and supply continuity strategies
Drive procurement KPIs including cost savings supplier performance and P2P efficiency
Lead benchmarking activities and implement best-in-class procurement practices
Ensure accuracy and integrity of procurement data within systems (e.g. SAP or equivalent)
Develop and mentor procurement team members to build capability and performance
What You Will Need:
Bachelors degree in engineering Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement preferably in semiconductor or manufacturing industry
Proven expertise in strategic sourcing supplier management and contract negotiations
Strong background in cost analysis cost modeling and procurement analytics
Experience with procurement systems (SAP Oracle or equivalent)
Solid understanding of manufacturing and quality assurance processes
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
High level of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office tools particularly Excel
