Job Description: Report Reviewer & AI Quality Controller

Location: Remote (Philippines preferred; LATAM and South Africa considered)

Salary Range: $1400 $1600 USD per month

Working Hours: Non-standard hours (Approx. 4:00 PM 1:00 AM UK Time)

Role Overview

Our client is evolving its reporting process by bringing transcription services in-house utilising AI automatic transcription. We are seeking a Report Reviewer to act as the final line of quality control.

In this role you will listen to audio dictations and review the AI-generated transcripts for accuracy making necessary adjustments to ensure the final report is correct before it reaches our clients. As you master the system your responsibilities will expand to full report auditing.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Transcription Auditing: Listen to audio recordings and cross-reference them with AI-generated text.
• Content Correction: Edit and refine transcriptions to ensure they correctly match the dictation resolving any AI hallucinations or technical errors.
• Report Finalization: Review the end-to-end report to ensure consistency in formatting and detail.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of written English

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Exceptional Attention to Detail: You must be able to spot minor discrepancies between audio cues and written text.
• Fluent English Proficiency: Superior command of English grammar spelling and syntax is non-negotiable.
• Strong Listening Skills: Ability to accurately interpret various accents and technical descriptions in audio recordings.
• Technical Literacy: Comfortable working within new software systems and AI interfaces.
• Experience: Prior experience in report reviewing document management copy editing or as a professional typist is beneficial but not required.

Working Hours & Shift Requirements

To maintain our quick turnaround times this role operates outside of standard UK business hours. Reports are typically created at the end of the UK workday and must be ready by 9:00 AM UK time the following morning.

• Standard Shift: Likely starting between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM UK time.
• Weekend Availability: Sunday work is required to clear the backlog of reports generated over the weekend for Monday morning delivery.
• Time Zone Preference: We highly prioritize candidates in the Philippines (PH) or LATAM due to the natural alignment of these shifts with local daytime or evening hours.

Interview Process

1. Skills Assessment: A technical test via TestGorilla to evaluate written English and attention to detail.
2. Initial Interview: A meeting with the Hiring Manager to discuss your background and the role.
3. Practical Case Study: A worked example where you will review a 10-minute audio sample against an AI transcript to demonstrate your real-time editing skills.
