Nursery for two-year-olds
Foundation 1 (F1) for three-year-olds
Foundation 2 (F2) for four- and five-year-olds
Our Governing Board and Headteacher are seeking a passionate and experienced EYFS HLTA to lead our two-year-old provision and work as a valued member of our EYFS team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and caring practitioner to lead learning in our two-year-old class helping to provide the very best start for our youngest pupils.
The successful candidate will work closely with the EYFS Lead with weekly PPA time to plan prepare deliver and assess high-quality learning experiences tailored to the needs of two-year-olds.
You will play a key role in shaping a nurturing stimulating and safe environment where children can explore play and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day learning and provision within the two-year-old classroom.
Plan and deliver engaging play-based learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
Work collaboratively with the EYFS Lead to plan and review provision.
Observe assess and track childrens development and next steps.
Create a warm safe and stimulating indoor and outdoor environment.
Support the Catholic ethos of the school through positive role modelling and daily practice.
Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
Work closely with teachers support staff and external professionals where needed.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Holds relevant EYFS and HLTA qualifications.
Has strong experience working with children aged 2 - 5 years.
Has a secure understanding of the EYFS curriculum Strong Foundations in the First Years of School and child development.
Is confident in leading a class and managing provision.
Is enthusiastic nurturing and committed to inclusive practice.
Works effectively as part of a team and communicates well with colleagues and families.
Is willing to support and promote the Catholic ethos of the school.
