Corporate Associate / Senior Associate (Equity Capital Markets)
Location: London (hybrid working)
Salary: 95000 to 140000 (depending on experience)
Experience: 4 years PQE (Equity Capital Markets and public M&A)
Our client is looking to appoint a high-performing Corporate Associate or Senior Associate into its national Equity Capital Markets team. This is a genuinely transactional role with strong exposure to equity capital markets work public M&A and corporate governance with the chance to take ownership of matters and develop quickly alongside senior lawyers.
The role is based London with hybrid working supported. You will be encouraged to build your profile in the market contribute to business development and support the development of junior lawyers.
What Youll Be Doing
Advising corporates investment banks brokers and major shareholders on a broad range of equity capital markets matters
Supporting on primary and secondary securities offerings on UK and international stock exchanges
Working on public M&A and corporate governance matters alongside wider corporate work
Managing transactions and running deal processes taking ownership of matters with appropriate support
Drafting reviewing and negotiating key transaction documents and ancillary materials
Coordinating workstreams and collaborating with colleagues nationally on complex high-value transactions
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear commercial advice
Contributing to business development networking and thought leadership activity
Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
What Were Looking For
Essential
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
4 years PQE with experience across equity capital markets and public M&A
Strong transactional experience and confidence managing matters and deal processes
Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
Commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem solving
Confident communicator who builds trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
Interest in business development and building networks in the market
Cross-border transactional experience (helpful but not essential)
