Holding a Good Ofsted rating our client is now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the leadership team and help drive the nurserys vision of inspiring every child to reach their full potential.
About the Position
This is a varied and rewarding role with a split between room-based hours and supernumerary time giving the Deputy Nursery Manager the opportunity to stay hands-on with the children while also developing their leadership and management skills.
What Our Client Is Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification or above essential
Experience in a senior role within a nursery setting essential
A strong understanding of EYFS and child development
A warm nurturing approach with a genuine love for working with young children
Confident leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team

Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting
Leading by example across the rooms acting as a role model for the team
Ensuring the delivery of stimulating developmentally appropriate activities
Supporting staff with observations planning and EYFS documentation
Helping to maintain Ofsted compliance and high-quality practice throughout
Deputising for the Nursery Manager when required
