Aquatic Control Inc. is a privately owned lake and pond management company with our home office in Seymour Indiana; and satellite offices in Valparaiso IN; Evansville IN; Truesdale MO; Jackson TN; Knoxville TN; Williamsville IL; Elkhart IA; Davenport IA; Elizabethtown KY; and Lakemoor IL. We are actively growing and need to add an Aquatic Biologist at our Seymour Office.

The Position:

• Primary duty will be the application of EPA registered aquatic herbicides and algaecides
• Installation and maintenance of aerators fountains and compressed air systems
• Aquatic plant surveys
• Writing vegetation management plans
• Performing fish surveys
• Attend industry related training events and conferences
• Heavy field work from March through October
• General maintenance of trucks boats equipment and grounds
• Speaking at pond clinics trade shows and public meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in fisheries/aquatic science agriculture or a natural resources-related field
• Insurable Driving Record
• Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening & DOT Physical
• Comfortable Driving Truck & Boat Trailer Combination
• Basic mechanical ability (experience in outboard motor operation is a plus)
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment (physical labor required)
• Ability to work an average of 50-60 hours per week
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
