This position will report tothe Manager of Customer Supply Chain-Retail Sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst works with the Manager of Customer Supply Chain to ensure customer supply chain expectations are met cost effectively. This position will provide analytical support to drive supply chain improvements to create beneficial outcomes for both the customer and Hormel. This role will interface and work cross functionally with Supply Chain and Retail teams.

• This position will be responsible for developing building monitoring and reporting on Customer Supply Chain scorecard results for Kroger and Albertsons. The incumbent will support front line sales for Kroger and Albertsons at Top 2 Top meetings/joint business plans with supply chain insights and recommendations as prioritizedwith the Manager of Customer Supply Chain. This individual will own the supply chain relationships with these key customers
• Serve as the point person for customers to resolve repetitive customer service challenges and identify/pursue customer cost opportunities. Works cross functionally across supply chain and sales teams to optimize and to improve Hormel supply chain efficiency and value for customer.
• Pulls together data from disparate sources including mainframe oracle transportation claims orders invoices high radius to provide insights which support good business decisions related to the supply chain for focus and core customers. These insights include support of preferred vendor negotiations and rebalancing of customer supply chain networks.
• This position will also support the Manager of Customer Supply Chain to proactively address retail-wide customer service challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• A bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of sales logistics or supply chain related experience
• Self- motivated to identify opportunities and create benefits to the customer and HormelWin-Win
• Proven problem solving continuous improvement and decision-making skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.
• Well-developed interpersonal organizational presentation and analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing disparate sources of data.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States a lawful permanent resident or have authorization to work in the United States.

• Individual work consistently out of the Cincinnati OH sales office.
• Experience working with Krogers supply chain and systems like Market 6
• 5 years of sales logistics or supply chain related experience.
• Strong ability to present to and negotiate with the customer.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

At Hormel Foods base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Senior Supply Chain Analyst is between $89000 - $124700 per year and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skill set level of experience and geographic market location.
