The activities include: assisting in the development and implementing patient recruitment strategies data collection. Processing blood samples and shipping to appropriate laboratories.
The Co-op Assistant also performs some administrative duties including coordinating follow-up visits organizing patient mailings and other scheduling and coordinating tasks as necessitated by research protocol(s)
The successful applicant will be an independent problem-solver with excellent attention to detail and writing skills who desires to work in an interdisciplinary fast-paced and mission-driven organization.

Job Summary
in concert with research staff develops and implements patient recruitment strategies.2. Develops organizes and/or maintains detailed clinical and research databases. May use programs such as Excel and REDCap.
for collecting data and maintaining patient information database for study. May be required to input data. Maintains patients records as part of record keeping function.
with collection of regulatory documents for clinical studies and maintaining regulatory binder.

6. Orders lab supplies and equipment as necessary.

Experience
Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a relevant degree or diploma in a healthcare-related field. 0-1 year required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong interest in the healthcare industry and a desire to gain practical experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients healthcare professionals and staff.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in using basic computer software.
- Willingness to learn adapt and contribute as part of a healthcare team.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and privacy laws is an asset.
