Schedule: MondayThursday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM Friday: 7:00 AM 12:00 PM
Duration: 4-Week Contract (Potential Extension)

Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role requires strong clinical and administrative capabilities along with a patient-focused approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and room patients in a professional and timely manner
• Schedule appointments and manage incoming calls
• Record vital signs and patient information accurately
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and administer vaccines
• Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Provide general clinical and administrative support as needed
• Collaborate effectively with clinical staff to ensure smooth operations

Required Qualifications:

• 23 years of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
• Proficiency in both front and back office functions
• Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certification
• Experience in Occupational Health settings

Key Skills:

• Patient rooming and vital signs collection
• Scheduling and administrative coordination
• EKG and POC testing
• Strong computer and documentation skills
