Position Overview

This role is part of the Global Operations Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Manager Operations this Financial Analyst role will be responsible for providing support to the Santa Clara Operations and Facilities Organizations. This role is results-driven and provides business partner support to create transparency for key spending milestones and KPIs while enabling smooth integration into J&J systems and processes.

Essential Job Functions

• Lead the process for accomplishing rolling forecasts annual budgets and long-range forecasts for Santa Clara Operations and Facilities.

• Provide support to senior business leaders with actuals analyze variance identify trends and provide recommendations to drive forecast execution accuracy and actionable recommendations to senior management.

• Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.

• Effectively collaborate cross-functionally to plan and execute initiatives.

• Perform monthly and quarterly close responsibilities including preparation of accruals variance analysis reporting and audit support.

• J&J Credo: Understands and applies Johnson & Johnsons Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field

• Minimum 1-3 years of accounting finance or related business experience is required.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Proven ability to work independently while appropriately planning prioritizing and communicating progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with planning software such as Adaptive or Anaplan

• Understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements

• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal customers
