Position Summary
ThePrivate Event Coordinatoris primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the events taking place in the venue including developing coordinating and supervising all event related activities key to the operation of the facility.
This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$20.00

This position will remain open until July 10th 2026.

The University Club at Alabama exists to support its Members in living their best liveson and off campus. Whether were providing pregame dining for Crimson Tide fans offering meeting space for a university department event or hosting a milestone celebration for a Member our club is deeply integrated with the heartbeat of campus life and the Tuscaloosa community.
Responsibilities
- Communicates all event information to the appropriate Departments and staff.
- Develop implement and manage event.
- ensures that event set-ups are accurate.
- Communicates in a timely manner with each Department Head regarding specific needs and information for each event.
- Prepares and distributes Event Data Sheet to all staff and Departments in a timely manner.
- Work with Private Events Director to coordinate and facilitate client needs for each event and provide cost estimates as required/requested.
- Preparation of and submission of expenses for event settlement.
- Assist Private Events Director with Coordinating Event Details and Communication to the Team.
- Executes other operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree from a college or university preferred.
- One year experience same or similar position in arenas convention centers stadiums or theaters preferred.
- Ability to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules (including nights weekends holidays and extended hours).
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
