Salary: $73844-$88700 (We are committed to equitable compensation practices and base salaries on a consistent framework tied to role scope responsibility and experience. Most candidates will be hired near the midpoint of the range depending on experience and qualifications.)

Incentive Pay: This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation based on FPIs organizational scorecard and individual performance. Bonus eligibility varies by role classification and typically ranges from 48 percent of base salary.

Front Porch Investments serves as a catalyst for innovative and community-centered affordable housing solutions with a focus on investment advocacy and engagement. Front Porch Investments is a supporting organization of the Omaha Community Foundation which works with donors and nonprofits to grow a stronger region.

Front Porchs funding priorities include production of affordable housing units preservation of affordable housing units promotion of housing justice and equity and expansion of innovative housing options. Our primary goal is to increase funding innovation and strategic partnerships in support of affordable housing across the Greater Omaha metro area through our own investments and by leveraging public-private partnerships to collaborate across stakeholders and strengthen the urban housing ecosystem.

Role Overview:

The Loan Operations & Compliance Manager at Front Porch Investments (FPI) is responsible for managing loan closing servicing and compliance for FPIs lending programs. This role serves as the operational backbone of the organizations loan portfolio ensuring accurate execution of loan closings timely servicing strong compliance tracking and reliable portfolio data.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Loan Closing & Boarding (25%)

  • Closing Coordination: Track conditions collect and prepare documentation and facilitate communication between borrowers external partners and internal staffLoan Boarding: Set up loans in systems including amortization schedules and compliance ticklers
  • File Management: Maintain complete and accurate loan files at closing
  • Closing QC: Prepare commitment letters for borrowers to review and ensure loan documents align with approved terms and credit decisions


Loan Servicing & Payment Administration (20%)

  • Payment Processing:Monitor post and reconcile loan payments
  • Exception Resolution:Track and resolve payment discrepancies and delinquencies
  • Servicing Support:Respond to borrower inquiries related to payments and loan status

Construction Loan Administration (15%)

  • Draw Administration:Manage intake review and approval coordination for construction draws
  • Budget Tracking:Monitor project budgets contingencies and retainage
  • Progress Monitoring:Coordinate with borrowers to track construction status

Portfolio Monitoring & Compliance (20%)

  • Covenant Tracking:Manage tickler systems for deadlines and required documentation
  • Insurance Monitoring:Collect and track borrower insurance policies
  • Regulatory Compliance:Monitor requirements tied to ARPA DED City of Omaha and other funding sources
  • Problem Loan Management:Track cures repayment plans and escalating risks to leadership

Data Reporting & Audit Support (10%)

  • Portfolio Reporting:Produce risk tables delinquency summaries and pipeline reports
  • Funder Reporting:Support monthly and quarterly reporting requirements
  • Audit Support:Compile loan schedules and documentation for audits
  • Data Integrity:Ensure consistency and reliability of portfolio data

Systems & Document Management (5%)

  • System Management:Maintainandoptimizeloan software and internal tracking tools
  • Process Improvement:Develop and refine systems for servicing compliance tracking and reporting

Underwriting & Pipeline Support (5%)

  • Financial Analysis:Assistwith financial modeling and deal analysis
  • Credit Support:Contribute to credit memos and underwriting materials
  • Pipeline Coordination:Support deal tracking and transition from underwriting to servicing


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree inFinance Business Administration Real Estate or a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 35 years of experience in loan operations servicing loan closings portfolio management or affordable housing finance
  • Experience with loan closing servicing systems and portfolio monitoring
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and workflows
  • Proficiencyin financial analysis and comfort with spreadsheets and loan management systems
  • Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills with the ability to build and improve processes
  • Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams and external partners
