As the Director of Developmentfor the College of Arts and Science you will play a key frontline fundraisingroleadvancing philanthropic support for the University of this role you will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects focusing on gifts in the $100K range and lead all aspects of the donor lifecycle-from identification and qualification to cultivation solicitation and stewardship. You will partner closely with colleagues across University Advancement and academic units including the College of Arts and Sciences to align donor interests with institutional priorities and maximize philanthropic impact. You will serve as a highly collaborative and externally facing representative of the university regularly engaging with donors alumni and role requires frequent travel and proactive outreach to build relationships and advance giving conversations. This position is ideal for a motivated fundraiser who enjoys being in the field building connections and executing strategy. You will contribute to broader development planning efforts while personally driving results and helping grow a strong pipeline of future major and leadership gift donors. Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience. Minimum Requirements
Three years of professional frontline fundraising experience or five years combined experience in development and in a closely related field such as corporate sales.Professional Competencies
