The Senior Paralegal provides comprehensive support for insurance and corporate regulatory matters including preparing and filing required documents with the Department of Insurance Secretary of State SEC NYSE and foreign regulatory bodies. The position supports board of directors and committee activities through the preparation of governance materials conducts legal and corporate research and ensures accurate timely compliance across all filings. The ideal candidate brings deep regulatory expertise strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders.JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and file documents with regulatory agencies including the Department of Insurance and the Secretary of State
Draft review and submit board of directors and committee materials certifications and other related corporate documents
Conduct legal and corporate research; analyze and summarize findings and reports
Prepare Securities & Exchange Commission Section 16 filings including Form ID 3 4 & 5
Prepare NYSE filings and submission through Filing Manager
Prepare foreign filings and related regulatory questionnaires
Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely completion of assignments
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism Skills Knowledge & Abilities
Extensive knowledge of insurance regulatory processes
Strong understanding of filing requirements for the Department of Insurance and Secretary of State
Expertise in document preparation for board of directors and committee consents
Proficient in legal and corporate research methods and report analysis
Familiarity with EdgarNext and NYSE Filing Manager databases
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities
Demonstrate capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree required; paralegal certification preferred
Minimum of 10 years experience as a paralegal with a focus on insurance or regulatory matters
Experience preparing and filing documents with regulatory agencies and supporting board-level activities
Experience handling UCAA application

In certain jurisdictions CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this District of Columbia California Colorado Connecticut Illinois Maryland Massachusetts New York and Washington the national base pay range for this job level is $54000 to $103000 determinations are based on various factors including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and location.
