Job Summary
As a Field Construction Manager with Ledcor Technical Services you will take the lead in our daily field operations. You will ensure that projects are delivered on schedule within budget and to the highest quality this role you will execute project plans and schedules uphold site safety and quality control and manage the work of field staff contractors and tradespeople. Your leadership will be central to keeping our projects running smoothly and successfully.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Will ensure projects meet approved plans specifications and building codes
- Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs and oversees incident investigations
- Reviews and updates construction schedules addresses delays and contributes to project schedules
- Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects
- Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project
- Participates in subcontractor and supplier selection procurement and negotiations
- Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team
- Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents
Qualifications:
- One to three years of experience in as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent
- Experience in aerial and underground fiber instillation methods is a plus. (Plow and Horizontal Directional Drill HDD)
- Post-secondary education in Construction Engineering or a related discipline is an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents drawings specifications and current construction practices
- Effective Communication and leadership skills
- Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues
- Strong organizational and planning skills
Working Conditions:
- This is a site-based position
- Travel required throughout multiple states
- 50-70% travel
Compensation
$62400-$85000 USD AnnualSite or project-based roles may be eligible for additional pay elements.
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
