Under direction performs a variety of receiving and inventory activities stores and distributes supplies and equipment to other departments.
Duties:
Receives and inspects all incoming raw materials and supplies and then distributes to the appropriate department or stocks into the warehouse inventory.
Maintains complete inventory cards and records for all inventory items and builds steel kits as needed to supply production.
Maintain constant flow of materials to the production floor for assembly.
Skills/Qualifications:
Must be able to perform physical activities such as but not limited to lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted bending standing or carrying materials on a consistent basis.
Must be able to read and implement basic work instructions.
Must understand basic inventory and warehouse practices.
Must be able to safely and competently operate a forklift.
Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Follow drug free workplace policy.
Position Requirements:
Must have a clean driving record.
Experience with movingboat trailers or equipment comparable.
Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
Position availability must include Monday Friday first shift
Highschool diploma/GED
2 years experience working in industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
