Job Summary
Company:
The Boeing CompanySupports the Sealants Adhesives Tapes Rubbers and Composites Laboratory for Regulated Materials Distribution. Coordinates and performs Conducts testing and associated activities to ensure materials meet specification requirements. Navigates Boeing specifications to understand material testing process. Sets up and calibrates specialized test or measurement equipment to be used for product review. Collects data for evaluation of processes or products. Analyzes tests inspection or statistical data to determine product and processes conformity or assists with corrective action recommendations. Documents and communication test analysis or measurement results to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Associate degree and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work with and around chemicals and sensitive test instruments
- Ability to work in a spray booth for up to 7 hours per day (when needed)
- Good communication (written and oral) skills
- Experience using measurement and test equipment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with aerospace or automotive paint application paints & coatings
- Experience applying and evaluating decorative paint for color match
- Experience working with Haztrax & MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)
- Ability to work alternate shift ( Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday -Thursday)
- Proficiency utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite

- Summary pay range for Senior (level 4): $86700 - $117300
