Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to place up to three skilled ICT Business Analysts across its Cloud Applications and Business Engagement & Design sections.
Our client is a prominent Commonwealth agency whose technology platforms underpin Australias international presence and engagement. As a Senior Business Analyst you will play a central part in defining and articulating business needs processes and requirements that enable effective collaboration between business stakeholders and technology teams.
You will support the delivery and sustainment of a range of ICT initiatives leveraging modern cloud-based environments and contributing to continuous improvement across the divisions business analysis practice.
Key Responsibilities
Elicit analyse and document business and functional requirements.
Contribute to agile delivery activities including delivery planning backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies using Microsoft DevOps
Conduct business situation analysis and business process improvement activities to support organisational outcomes.
Develop and maintain high-quality technical business artefacts.
Engage and collaborate with a diverse range of business and technical stakeholders.
Support and promote consistent business analysis practices tools and methods.
Key Experience and Skills
Experience in ICT software delivery projects including requirements elicitation analysis and documentation.
Demonstrated experience working within agile delivery teams collaborating with developers and architects using Microsoft DevOps
Strong capability in business modelling and business process improvement.
Experience producing high-quality technical artefacts including business requirements functional specifications user stories process maps and acceptance criteria
Familiarity with data architecture solutions design and the Software Development Life Cycle in cloud-based environments (Azure experience desirable)
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels across complex ICT environments
Security Requirements
Applicants must hold an active Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (or higher) to be considered.
