Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and personable bartender to provide excellent service to guests in our hotel bar. The ideal candidate should have great customer service communication and organizational skills.
Compensation: $19 - $22
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify customers identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area.
- Keep track of inventory and restock as needed.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments.
- Open and maintain tabs for customers during their visit.
- Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient service.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations (OSHA HAZCOM Blood Borne Pathogens).
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in your area).
- At least 2 years of bartending experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Must be available to work evenings weekends and holidays.
- Follow all company safety and security policies.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to walk stand use hands and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
