At Commvault the Velocity Account Manager plays a vital role in driving the expansion and retention of our existing SaaS accounts. This position is designed for a strategic inside sales hunter with a keen focus on nurturing and expanding relationships within our current client base. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of account growth including renewals cross-selling new products and customer satisfaction ensuring the continued success and expansion of our SaaS offerings.

This role is perfect for someone who is capable of nurturing long-term client relationships ensuring satisfaction and driving significant account growth. If you are motivated by customer success and have a passion for expanding business within existing accounts we encourage you to apply.

**Candidates must be able to commute to Ft. Lauderdale Monday through Thursday and working from home on Friday**

What youll do

  • Manage the entire account lifecycle from renewal to expansion demonstrating a proactive approach in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients to assess their needs and align our solutions to their business goals ensuring sustained account growth and satisfaction.
  • Maintain high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction by providing timely and effective solutions to client needs and inquiries.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each accounts unique challenges and opportunities crafting customized strategies to maximize value and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with the customer support and product teams to address any product-related issues or enhancements that will benefit the client enhancing their overall experience and satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track account activity sales progress and lead management ensuring all account information is up-to-date and communications are logged and followed.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales and customer loyalty targets maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities for account growth.

Who you are

  • Preferred 1 3 years of relevant experience in a sales or account management role.
  • Strong understanding of technology products and the broader SaaS market skilled in clearly and effectively communicating complex product features and advantages.
  • Proven track record of managing customer relationships and achieving sales targets within a SaaS environment.
  • High level of professionalism and customer-centric approach with exceptional skills in negotiation and problem resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with a high degree of initiative and drive.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office SFDC and other sales and customer relationship management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
  • High level of professionalism ethical conduct and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all business interactions.
