Residential Coordinator (IDD Services Human Services Leadership Role)

We are hiring a Residential Coordinator to lead and support residential teams serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This is a hands-on leadership role focused on empowering individuals to live meaningful independent lives while ensuring high-quality person-centered care.

Pay & Schedule

• Full-Time (40 hours/week)
• Flexibility required including on-call responsibilities
• Salary: $64480 $68640 per year

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Staff Development

• Supervise coach and support residential staff
• Create a positive team-oriented work environment
• Train and mentor new employees
• Contribute to performance evaluations and staff development

Program & Team Oversight

• Manage day-to-day operations of the residential program
• Coordinate hiring onboarding and staff training
• Lead team meetings and ensure clear communication across staff
• Ensure staff understand and meet the needs of individuals served

Operations & Compliance

• Monitor documentation (incident reports care plans timesheets)
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and RI state regulations
• Support household budgeting and maintain quality standards
• Build strong relationships with individuals families and team members

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human Services or related field (preferred)
• 35 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or human services
• 3 years of experience working as a Direct Support Professional
• Knowledge of IDD services and Rhode Island regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive (experience with EMAR Sandata or similar systems is a plus)
