Hotel Maintenance Engineer Houseperson Part Time

At Parks Hospitality Group we are looking for a dedicated and reliable Hotel Maintenance Engineer/Houseperson to join our this blended role you will play an essential part in ensuring the proper maintenance of the hotel facilities and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests. Youll be responsible for both maintenance tasks and supporting housekeeping contributing to an overall exceptional guest experience.

What Youll Do:

• Perform general maintenance tasks including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
• Maintain and repair hotel equipment HVAC systems and appliances to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to identify and resolve potential issues before they affect guest comfort.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and organization in public areas and guest rooms.
• Respond to guest requests related to maintenance and cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Handle basic repairs in guest rooms and common areas including light fixtures plumbing issues and general room maintenance.
• Assist with stocking and organizing housekeeping supplies.
• Maintain the hotels appearance ensuring public areas are clean welcoming and well-maintained.
• Assist with trash removal floor care and other housekeeping duties as required.

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems including plumbing electrical HVAC and general maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work weekends evenings and holidays.
• A team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
