About the Role:
As a Residential Support Worker youll help create a safe and stable environment for young people navigating the justice system. Youll be there for the daily wins encouraging healthy choices keeping routines on track and supporting young people to meet their bail conditions. When the residence is unoccupied youll step into a community-focused role mentoring youth building local connections and strengthening Hopes presence in Geraldton.
Casual position - ad-hoc shifts up to 4 per fortnight
Day afternoon and night shift available

Youll need:
Cert III (or relevant experience) in Youth Work Community Services or similar
Experience working with at-risk or complex-needs youth aged 10-18
Must be willing to work within a 24/7 roster
An understanding of and adherence to working within personal and professional boundaries
Ability to prepare meals & maintain a clean and healthy environment
Understanding of Aboriginal culture and community
Must be confident working autonomously
A calm respectful and resilient approach
A current drivers licence and First Aid certificate
Important:
To apply youmust have the right to work in Australia. Employment is subject to a National Police Check working with children clearance and ID verification by the Department of Justice (DOJ). If successful please be mindful the DOJ clearance process can take up to 6 weeks.
