AI Platform Engineer

We are looking for a talented graduate or a junior engineer eager to dive into the world of AI infrastructure Were looking for a Junior AI Platform Engineer to join our AI Platform (R&D) team.

In this role you will help us build the foundation for Rossums proprietary LLM models. Youll learn how to deploy AI at a massive scale (processing millions of documents) and work alongside some of the best research engineers in the field. This is a unique opportunity to start your career at the intersection of Platform Engineering and Machine Learning.

What Youll Do

• Learn & Contribute: Support the development of our cloud-based AI infrastructure (AWS) processing pipelines and model deployment.

• Hands-on Support: Help maintain and improve our CI/CD processes for model versioning and testing.

• Monitor & Maintain: Learn to build proactive monitoring solutions to ensure our AI systems are healthy and reliable.

• Collaborate: Work within a cross-functional team (Research Backend and Product) to see how new AI models reach production.

Who You Are

• Education: You have a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (Matfyz CTU FSV or similar are a huge plus).

• Python Enthusiast: You have strong coding skills in Python (from university personal projects or internships).

• The Basics: You understand the fundamentals of SQL and have at least a basic idea of what Docker and Kubernetes do.

• Curiosity: You are passionate about AI/ML and have a hacker mindset you love to figure out how things work.

• Communication: You are comfortable communicating in English in a professional environment.

What a Success Looks like

• Within 3 Months: Youve successfully onboarded understood our architecture and completed your first small tasks under the guidance of a senior mentor.

• Within 6 Months: You are independently handling smaller infrastructure improvements and contributing to the system stability.

• Within 12 Months: You have a solid grasp of our AI platform and can take ownership of mid-size feature development or automation projects.
