Job Summary
Dynatrace Architect / Dynatrace SME (Observability & AIOps)
Role Overview
A Dynatrace Expert is a senior specialist in observability and AIOps responsible for architecting implementing and managing advanced Dynatrace solutions within large enterprise environments. This role focuses on platform architecture AI-driven operations (Davis AI) automation and proactive incident prevention.
Core Responsibilities
Dynatrace Platform Architecture & Ownership
Architect deploy configure and optimize Dynatrace SaaS or Managed environments.
Define and own the observability strategy across applications infrastructure cloud and services.
Ensure scalability reliability governance and cost efficiency.
Intelligent Operations & Davis AI Enablement
Leverage Davis AI for anomaly detection and root cause analysis.
Configure baselines detection rules and impact analysis aligned to business services.
Drive proactive and preventive monitoring practices.
Advanced Use Case & Template Development
Develop standardized monitoring and alerting templates.
Create ITSM-aligned incident and problem workflows.
Design dashboards for infrastructure applications and leadership.
Establish reusable best practices for onboarding teams and applications.
Automation & Monitoring as Code
Implement automation using Dynatrace Configuration as Code (Monaco).
Integrate with Terraform Ansible Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
Automate dashboards alerts management zones and governance policies.
Enable event-driven and automated remediation workflows.
Performance & Root Cause Analysis
Perform advanced troubleshooting across microservices cloud and Kubernetes environments.
Analyze traces logs metrics dependencies and service flows.
Provide actionable recommendations beyond diagnostics.
DQL Dashboards & Analytics
Develop Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) queries for analytics and dashboards.
Build dashboards using Dynatrace Gen3 apps (Services Problems Workflows Traces).
Support cost performance and reliability optimization.
Cross-Team Enablement & Advisory
Act as SME for SRE DevOps infrastructure and application teams.
Lead workshops knowledge-sharing sessions and best-practice reviews.
Guide observability maturity and roadmap development.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace platform
Expertise in Davis AI Smartscape topology distributed tracing
Advanced DQL (Dynatrace Query Language)
Experience with Azure AWS GCP
Strong understanding of APM infrastructure monitoring and AIOps
