Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to analyze and lead the end-to-end integration design of Interac e-Transfer payment flows across Digital Banking Central 1 and Temenos T24 core banking systems.

The role involves translating high-level architecture into detailed low-level design (LLD) for an Azure-based integration layer and providing technical leadership for API-driven microservices-based payment systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Integration Design & Architecture

• Analyze current-state Interac e-Transfer implementations using:
  
• Design documents
  
• API specifications
  
• End-to-end payment flows
  
• Design and translate HLD LLD for Azure integration layer
  

• Define:
  
• Service decomposition
  
• Orchestration flows
  
• Data mapping
  
• Messaging standards (ISO 20022 ISO 8583)
  
• Error handling strategies
  
• Interface specifications
  

2. Azure Integration Development

• Lead integration design using Azure services:
  
• Azure API Management (APIM)
  
• Azure Functions
  
• Support development in:
  
• .NET / C#
  
• Ensure scalable and secure microservices-based architecture
  

3. Payment System Expertise

• Work on Interac e-Transfer implementations
  
• Understand and support:
  
• Digital banking flows
  
• Core banking (Temenos T24) integrations
  
• Central 1 ecosystem
  
• Regulatory standards
  

5. Technical Leadership

• Guide development teams on:
  
• API lifecycle management
  
• Integration patterns
  
• Microservices architecture
  
• Enforce design standards and best practices
  

Required Skills

• 810 years of experience in integration design and API development
  
• Strong experience in solution design hands-on development
  
• Minimum 2 years experience in Interac e-Transfer implementation
  
• Strong knowledge of:
  
• Microservices architecture
  
• API lifecycle management
  
• Distributed systems
  
• Hands-on experience with:
  
• Azure API Management (APIM)
  
• Azure Functions
  
• .NET / C# development
  
• Strong stakeholder and leadership skills
  

Nice to Have

• Banking / financial payments domain experience
