Job Summary
Backend Engineer Kotlin Microservices & AKS
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled backend developer with strong experience in modern programming languages and frameworks with primary expertise in Kotlin and exposure to Java microservices and cloud platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Kotlin with additional experience in Java (Spring Boot Spring Security) and JavaScript ()
- 5 years of backend development experience including:
- Unit testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit) Cucumber BDD
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins pipelines GitHub Actions etc.
- Hands-on experience with SOAP REST APIs Microservices and Event-Driven architectures
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and related components for highly automated engineering platforms
Development Practices:
- Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps principles
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration
- Ability to work in environments that emphasize rapid delivery of new features
Additional Skills:
- Exposure to open-source technologiesexperience contributing to or leveraging open-source projects is highly desirable
- Interest in exploring new technologies and building proof-of-concepts for integration into products
