Technical Product Manager Logistics, Transportation Management System (TMS)

Role Descriptions:

We are seeking an innovative Product Manager to own the roadmap and vision for our Transportation and Dynamic Routing this role you will bridge the gap between complex logistics operations and advanced engineering defining the what and why for routing algorithms and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

The ideal candidate has a technical background (former developer/engineer) strong proficiency in Google BigQuery and a passion for leveraging Generative AI to solve last-mile and fleet optimization problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and own the product vision for Transportation and Routing
  
• Prioritize features that drive efficiency cost savings and driver satisfaction
  

Routing Logic Ownership

• Define business rules for dynamic routing algorithms
  
• Optimize for constraints such as delivery windows vehicle capacity and traffic patterns
  

GenAI Innovation

• Identify high-value use cases for Generative AI (LLMs) in logistics
  
• Examples include conversational dispatcher assistants anomaly detection and predictive ETA modeling
  
• Drive initiatives from concept to launch
  

Data-Driven Decision Making

• Use Google BigQuery (SQL) to analyze large datasets
  
• Validate hypotheses and measure product success against KPIs
  

Technical Requirements (PRDs)

• Translate operational needs into detailed PRDs and technical user stories
  
• Work closely with Engineering and Data Science teams
  

Engineering Collaboration

• Leverage development background to understand APIs architecture and technical trade-offs
  
• Partner effectively with engineering teams
  

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the voice of customers (dispatchers drivers logistics managers)
  
• Ensure solutions address real-world operational challenges
  

Agile Leadership

• Serve as Product Owner in agile ceremonies
  
• Manage and prioritize product backlog
  

Minimum Requirements:

• 57 years of experience as a Product Manager in Supply Chain Logistics or Technical SaaS products
  
• Proven experience in dynamic routing products last-mile delivery or fleet optimization tools
  
• Strong technical background (software developer experience or Computer Science degree preferred)
  
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience in Google BigQuery
  
• Experience integrating GenAI/LLM capabilities or strong AI-driven project portfolio
  
• Strong analytical mindset to break down logistics problems into measurable solutions
  
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  

Essential Skills:

• 7 years of Product Management experience in Supply Chain Logistics or SaaS
  
• Routing product expertise (dynamic routing last-mile delivery fleet optimization)
  
• Technical/development background (able to communicate with engineering teams)
  
• Advanced BigQuery (SQL) proficiency for data-driven decisions
  
• Generative AI/LLM product integration experience
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
