Reporting to the Senior Manager Compliance the Compliance Senior Accountant is responsible for continuously monitoring and improving the accounting controls environment at X-Rite Pantone and facilitating all internal and external audit testing.

This is a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of two days per week onsite in our Grand Rapids MI office.

In this role a typical day will look like:

• Conduct balance sheet reviews of domestic and international entities to ensure accounting procedures are in adherence with GAAP and company policies
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes liaising with auditors and global process partners to ensure timely completion of audit requests.
• Support timely implementation of accounting and other control improvements as identified through audit and balance sheet review processes
• Provide guidance on accounting policies and control performance expectations through trainings and business partnering
• Execute special projects as may be required such as investigations and implementation of new accounting standards.
• Travel is required ranging from 5-15% of business days

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 3 years of audit and accounting experience required.
• B.A. or B.S. in Accounting required.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience with top tier ERP required (Oracle SAP Microsoft Dynamics 365 etc)
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Public accounting experience preferred but not required.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
