Data Engineer, CDC

• Design and implement solutions for data ingestion storage application performance management dashboards anomaly detection and analytics ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Implement schema enforcement data quality checks and operational monitoring.
• Support data needs including building or modifying datasets used for analysis and modeling.
• Participate in Tier 1/Tier 2 triage of platform issues including job failures data anomalies and service reliability.
• Address ad hoc engineering tickets including enhancements bug fixes and tactical data requests.
• Collaborate with platform engineers analytics teams and business stakeholders to ensure timely accurate data delivery.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines test coverage and documentation practices.
• Support other project activities and DRT activities as directed by Project Manager and/or Portfolio Manager.

• 5 years of experience in data engineering activities (e.g. data pipelines ETL).
• Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python NodeJS Java SQL etc.).
• Strong expertise in system design data architecture automation and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools.
• Working experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) containerization tools (Docker Kubernetes) data engineering tools (Airflow AWS EMR) and BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
• Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and production jobs.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance. Due to contract requirements candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders) to be eligible.
